GUIDED HELI WALK
Cecil Peak Station
Be picked up from your accommodation or meet your guide at our base on Shotover Street. We will then make our way to the heli pad to prepare for the helicopter flight over Lake Wakatipu, to the starting point of the walk at the saddle between Cecil Peak and Walter Peak.
The three hour walk gently winds its way down the valley between the two peaks as you make your way to the Walter Peak High Country Farm. During the walk your knowledgeable guide will entertain you with interesting facts about the area, and the native fauna and flora, whilst you take in the amazing mountainous views surrounding you.
Upon arriving at Walter Peak High Country Farm, you will be treated to a delicious BBQ lunch on the terrace, whilst taking in the full splendor of Lake Wakatipu. After lunch you can decide wether you would like to join the High Country Farm Tour. Finish the day off by cruising across Lake Wakatipu back to Queenstown, on board the vintage TSS Earnslaw.
